 Indian Air Force has issued a notification for the recruitment of Commissioned Officer vacancies for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying & Permanent Commission (PC)/ Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branches through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) – 01/ 2017. Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 20-24 years (i.e Born between 02-01-1994 to 01-01-1998 both dates inclusive) for S.No-1, 20-26 years (i.e Born between 02-01-1992 to 01-01-1998 both dates inclusive) for S.No-2 & 3 as on 01-01-2018. Upper age limit for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years i.e. Born between 02-01-1992 to 01-01-1998 (Both dates inclusive) for S.No-1.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduation (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline or BE/ B Tech degree (Four year course) or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India for S.No-1, minimum 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four year degree graduation/integrated post- graduation qualification in Engineering/ Technology for S.No-2 (a) & for other refer notification.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Intelligence Test, screening test, Psychological, Group Tests & interview.

2. Click on “Candidate Login”.
3. Click on “New Candidate” to start the Online Application process.
4. Fill all the five parts of online applications carefully including part 5 where you need to upload photograph, signature and thumb impression.
5. Submit the application and retain User Name and Password for future use.
